Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri College

Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri College was founded in July 1965 (though inception of the college was in 1964) by Ranadev Chaudhuri, an eminent Barrister, in memory of his father Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri, son-in-law of Rashtraguru Surendranath Banerjee, to foster higher education among the poorer strata of society.
